The Good Samaritan: Christ Comes Down

In our world filled with heartbreak - from devastating floods in Texas claiming precious lives to countless other tragedies - we can find ourselves, like the man in the parable, beaten and broken by circumstances beyond our control. We might cry out, "How long, O Lord?" - a prayer that echoes throughout the Psalms. But as we look carefully at this text, we realize that God has already done something about our brokenness, and He continues to work even now.
