Harvest Kids

At Harvest, we are committed to raising our children in our mission statement of the church: "Seeking the heart of Jesus; serving the hearts of people in his name!" 

Our children are precious to us and we will do everything we can to teach them the ways of the Lord and to increase their love, wisdom, and knowledge of Jesus. Our prayer is that our children experience the love of God so powerfully that they will be passionate disciples of Jesus as they grow up! We welcome our children to worship with us and we have activity bags for those who need them. We also offer Harvest Kids Church for children (K4 up - 5th grade) where (if the parents choose), they can be dismissed for about 30 minutes of Bible teaching, crafts and games on their level during the sermon. We typically use “Godly Play”as our Kids Church curriculum. They will return to us later at the Passing of the Peace and to celebrate Holy Communion. We also hope to get children involved in worship sometimes as well! We also offer nursery care for infants if desired, and a designated area in our sanctuary for children with special needs.

At Harvest, what's really important to us is that we show children the love of God so that they can learn how to worship and serve the Lord from the youngest of ages.

• All of our children’s ministry staff are background checked and trained in our Child Protection Policy

• If you are interested in volunteering for children's ministry, you must be a member at Harvest for at least six months and be background checked and trained.
