Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them. For the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”

At Harvest, we are committed to raising our children in our mission statement of the church: "Seeking the heart of Jesus; serving the hearts of people in his name!" 

Our children are precious to us and we will do everything we can to teach them and to equip you in the ways of the Lord to increase their love, wisdom, and knowledge of Jesus. Even our fully equipped, professionally staffed nursery will be a place where our littlest ones will experience the love of Christ!

Our prayer is that the children who grow up at Harvest experience the love of God so powerfully that they will be passionate disciples of Jesus as they grow up! We greatly desire that our kids learn how to worship with adults, but during our worship service, we still offer Kids Church for children (K4 up - 3rd grade) where (if the parents choose), they will be dismissed for about 30 minutes of Bible teaching, crafts, prayers, etc. during the sermon. They will return to us at the Passing of the Peace to celebrate Holy Communion every week.

We have monthly children’s time in worship, and we also aim to get children involved in worship sometimes as well (singing, etc)!

We love the little children because Jesus does! We do ask parents to be mindful of other worshipers if children are wiggly and fussy, especially during the sermon. If that happens, we invite parents to utilize The Fellowship Hall upstairs where the refreshments are usually served and audio and video are piped in from the service, OR you’re welcome to check them into the staffed “nursery” downstairs.

We also have activity bags if your kids need them. They are located in The Main Entrance Lobby.

  • All of our nursery, pre-K and elementary children … ALONG WITH their parents/guardians need to be checked in at the front entrance and given a security label. Check-in takes just a few minutes, but you can pre-register your kids HERE if you’d like to save time on Sunday morning!  

  • All of our children’s ministry staff are background checked and trained to abide and enforce our Child Protection Policy and Nursery Policy.
