Sent Out for the Harvest

Luke 10

Jesus' words in Luke 10 that 'the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few' call Christians to recognize the urgency of sharing God's love with everyone. When Jesus sent out 70 disciples, He demonstrated that His message was for all nations, not just Israel. He equipped them with His authority to heal and proclaim God's kingdom, sending them in pairs to emphasize the importance of community and mutual support in mission. Today, Christians are called to pray to the Lord of the harvest, go in faith with other believers, and trust in God's provision, remembering that our job is faithfulness, not success.
