Harvest Students (9th-12th) have opportunities during the school year to experience real community here within the ENTIRE Harvest family as we worship, and do “life” and mission together.
Typical Sunday Night Hangout
During the Fall and Spring school year, we offer a high school Sunday night (5:00 - 7:00 pm) time for the high schoolers to come hang out, eat a good meal together, and dive into some good biblical teaching and small group time… to build relationships and community. When we do these events, we gather at the church with other adult ministry leaders. Check the calendar to see our next gathering.
Big’s Chicks
“Big” is the affectionate nickname of one of our adult youth leaders, Mary Carol Abercrombie. She’s called “Big” because of her larger than life personality and love for the students. She leads a High school girls dinner and bible study!
Youth Retreats
9th-12th grade school students periodically go away with other adult leaders and other churches of our Diocese for a time of retreat! We typically go to the mountains for a weekend to worship, to hear and digest biblical teaching and of course, have fun! Stay tuned!
“Campfire Conversations”
Occasionally, our high school students gather at Pastor Travis’ home or at the church pavilion with other adult volunteers to eat together and to just talk about issues of life and faith around the campfire. This setting always breeds open and honest discussion to help build and equip our kids for a life of faith and discipleship.
